All-on-4 is also a fast and minimally invasive dental implant procedure, based on the very latest technology. Giving you a complete upper or lower set of teeth on just 4 fine titanium implants, the All-on-4 dental implant system significantly reduces the number of implants previously required for securing a complete denture. That is, All-on-4 uses just 4 fine titanium implants to support a fixed prosthesis featuring 12 to 14 teeth.

The All-on-4 implant system is able to support a full denture (bridge) on only on 4 fine titanium implants. These 4 implants act as “pillars” to the bridge that supports the prosthetic teeth, allowing us to make maximum use of the existing bone in your jaw, and avoiding the need for bone grafting.

If you have been missing teeth for a period of time, it is quite possible that you have lost some density in your jawbone. Previously, you would have needed to undergo bone graft surgery to restore the lost bone before being able to accept implants. It can take between 3 and 6 months for a bone graft to fully heal before dental implants can be placed.  After this you would need a further 4 to 6 months for the grafts to integrate before placement of the new prosthesis. The total rehabilitation time is about 12 months.
